Terry,
I had fun trying to keep the discussion more toward my interest, the full demo/remodel.............rather than say window replacement.

The scenario for replacing windows means multiple locations, but the full bore demo of a kitchen-trims/cabs/soffits/and access holes for plumbing, heating and electric conjures up a whole lot more of everything in one spot (which is the only benefit).

Think trim, doors, and cabinets in a bag? You'll have to cut 'em up, break 'em up, whatever 'em up to be able to wrap ala christmas presents in visqueen or bag it..........which of course releases more lead into the space. Now's when common sense seems to start conflicting.

I understand that some paint chips might fall if not wrapped/bagged to the dumpster........

And now instead of being able to cart the stuff out as it comes down, we'll be trying to hold it in the work area until finished with demo (not plausible), daily move if feasible, or other.

And what about our formerly sound idea of recycling? to the garage, your or a friends shop, or the ever popular "tree lawn" overnite?

Oh well.
