Deerbirds, we don't have many around here, snows to deep, My dad lives 200 miles south of me and has lots of wildlife around his place, deer included. Photo below of a rare sight. He has several ponds that attract Canada geese. One year a white goose arrived along with the first arrivals in the spring. This goose was bigger by far than the others and almost looked like a farm goose except it did fly in with the flock and was defiantly the alpha bird. My mother was great with animals and by the end of the summer the bird would sit in her lap, it left with the flock in the fall and did not return the following spring.
