The bike thing may get changed yet again. It'll be a work in progress for a while.
I may eventually turn the scooter into a pusher, instead of friction drive.
I can't yet watch the utube videos. With so much else 'open' on this OS, I have not yet been able to bring myself to install one of the worst offenders in webdom.. Adobe flash. LOL
Someday...
Thinking once I figure out the OS enough to get a good stable install, then I'll turn to learning about the firewalls, antiviruses, etc, that are available for linux boxes.
Until then, it's 'wipe out and test, wipe out and test, wipe out and test'. LOL
I guess the upside to this is that once I am proficient enough to do this on my own, I'll be able to help others, who otherwise would be completely lost.

Dude, I'd like to invite you to use quittintime as a sort of 'blog', for all this experimental stuff that you are doing.
You can start a thread here, and use it to 'keep notes', in a way. Upload pics. Record progress. Etc.
And we can all keep up as well. Give you ridiculously imcompetant advice, ask inanely stupid questions, etc. LOL
If you'd like I can even create a sub-section, like the 'shout' is a sub-section to the back porch...
Call it "Hillbilly Engeneering", or "Stretch Your Mind", or something like that.
It's a serious offer, and one that I am sure the 'owners' of quittintime would heartily agree with.
With a sub-section, maybe others will also post their off the wall, or hillbilly engeneering efforts.
And the threads/posts won't get lost by getting mixed in with the general chat stuff.
