Over my life, it seems more and more people are acting as if we already live in such a room, and, generally speaking, things don't seem to me to be improving.
So far as I an aware, all of the wold's significant philosophers, ethicists and spiritual movements have embraced the Golden Rule as the benchmark of 'civilized' behavior - Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Taoism come immediately to mind.
Isn't such a 'do anything room and the hell with the other guy' the negation of the Golden Rule?

Lose the Holier than Thou attitude and I'm thinking some of your crap would be taken a hair more serious. You really can't expect us all to believe that you don't see the effects of what you type, now do you?
Keep in mind ... I am not trying to say that I am any better, but I'm not the one here typing the virtues of the Golden Rule on an internet forum.
