If you use IE, google up "IE Spell free download"
File Hippo ought to have a copy. It's a smal,, compact download; save it to a handy Temp directory (or yout "downloads" directory if your XP is set up that way).

Run the executable, and it installs painlessly. If your IE security settings (and Version) allow, you even get right-click spell checking, which is tres cool (yes, I'm spoiled that way).

IESpell will also learn words if you tell it too (so you can use sammitch without tripping up).
