Would you hire this guy?

He does dress nicely complete with a polka-dot bow tie, TATTOOED on.

But some narrow minded people might object to the pentagram on the forehead.

That is some really scary stuff.

yeah, I'd hire him: to be a bouncer in a biker bar, but that's about it.

On one of the photo forums I participate in there was a guy that had a lot of face tattoos done who wanted to do wedding and portrait work but always complained when potenial clients were turned off by his tat's.

I've seen a bunch of face's tattoo'd,

have hung with some pretty "alternative" people over the years.

But the one guy I had to ask "why" ... was when I was getting my own tattoo. The tat artist has the usual assortment of ink and metal in, on and around him ...

but one thing got my attention.

front, middle of his neck ... below the adams apple area ...

hung a round medallion.

notice I didn't say a medallion hanging from a chain ...

just a medallion hanging from his neck.

on a ring.

seems his best friend had worn that medallion all his life, lost it once and was just sick about it. Found it .... and sometime later, was in a bad bike wreck. Pretty much on his death bed he gave his treasured medallion to his best bud and last words said "don't lose it" ... so Bob figured out a way to not lose it.

Had his neck pierced ... a ring was put thru, the medallion hung ... and the loop was soldered shut.

damn thing was big ... looked fairly heavy too. Half dollar size. But somehow Bob pulled the look off.

Said no one ever pierced their neck before so he told them just go deeper ... just in case. The skin leathered up around it nicely.

Jeff

Lefty-Msn this place is dead

It is what it is. A low traveled-pretty good when you needed it-place. What ya gonna do, put a gun to their head?

We'll do our best to be here the next time they can't get their fix over at BT.

I hear we'll be auctioning a Paslode 16 ga. finish nailer (maybe hoseless) here in the near future. Waiting on the man. That might pique some interest.

I can read and post on FHb under a fake name. But that ain't me, never has been. So I still stop in and read, but have put myself on a "no reply" diet.

There are a coupla semi-specialities in the remodeling world that I'm fairly knowledgable about ...

and I've been reading a coupla threads where I could have given the correct answer. Some are answered correctly, others could use a little correction ... and there's one I'm currently enjoying where two regulars are doing a fine job of sharing misinformation.

That one makes me smile.

I look at it this way ... I'm an ahole, but I generally know of what I spout off about ... and when I'm completely wrong I'm still generally humorous, at least I make myself laugh.

If I can't sign on as "me" ... I ain't value adding!

Jeff

You'll have to wait up a bit till I get the OFFICIAL word on that nailer. It was offered, but till I see the whites of there eyes-it might be futile to put it on the block just yet.

Do I think it would be a good Auction item? Hell, I'll auction everything but underwear.....

Probably would receive some interest from those that don't have one yet. All we can do is try if you wish. I'll put out a notice over at BT, lemme know-

If you need it, don't do it. Don't want to be taking a man's potential for livelyhood-specially in these uncertain times.

thank you.

Don't worry. He works at Lowes.

He is probably working behind the scenes telling Taunton to lock us out.

Yah but make sure you understand that I work AT Lowe's and NOT for Lowe's.

Gives me first crack at the clearance table or maybe second after all the pushy employees.

Did you get you access back yet Bill?

I'm gonna sit on it for a bit, it was only 20 bucks on the clearnce table. Haven't used it yet but if I draw the right name in the gift exchange, who know?

'Course if I don't get my access back I'll probably have to auction it off to keep this place running as my hangout. How much does it cost amonth to run this place?

That young Andy kid might need it.
