I love Krispies. I manage most of the time to drive by, however.
Just too expensive, and probably not good for you 12 at a time (which is what happens if I do stop).

Yep that's the whole problem. It's like an avalanche in your mouth.

Don't tell anyone, but when I pick up donuts for the crew, I would get a couple of dozen mixed for myself and a crew of three. While I was there, I would get a couple extra bear claws, and eat them on the way to the job.
When I showed up, it was break time.
What ever didn't get eaten during break was food for the boss (me).
Good thing I didn't do that all the time!

And then there were the times we would stop at the tavern after work....

Lately I've been wondering if it's a sickness. I mean being overweight when you don't want to be. Definitely a lack of self control. No wonder it's called dis-ease.

Like you know it's not healthy. Knowing yer at least 25lbs over anything close to a comfort weight. Being roughly 5'10' and back up to 220 ain't good. That's the grunt when ya put on yer boots level.

One time a few years back I hit 230 and man could I feel it. Got serious and went down to 190 feelin' fine. Felt like shouting out the car window 'hey I lost 40lbs!'

To easy to slip off the wagon and start eating whatever ya want whenever ya want.

You trying to give me a hint there skinny minnie? LOL
Yea next week I'm gonna start the diet.

You wouldn't believe the shape I was in five years ago. Jogged three miles a day lifted weights, never touched fried food or sugar or white flour.

Then I had a little knee pain and some tendonitis in my left shoulder so I decided to give myself a month off from everything to recouperate, Started drinking soda and putting sugar in my coffee all that crap. I've never went back.

Started hiking this spring but haven't really changed the bad diet except for cutting way back on the soda and fried stuff. I'm working on it though.

Side note: One thing that really used to amaze people was the fact that beer never really bothered my workouts. I could drink a twelve pack at night and get up and run 3 miles the next morning, and never miss a beat. Now if I have twelve it makes me not want to do a lot first thing the next morning, The fourties suck.

Since you are around and evidently nobody is "up there"..........let me tell you the stories seem to be true. I've never heard Smitty mumble anything about the aches so maybe it's best to not think about it. Or, he's not felt them yet. I know after 3 days with work above my head and 3 days last week on the floor................the trades do wreak havoc on a body. Question is, does it proceed to get worse or have I reached a plateau for a while.

Older and wiser or young and dumb? Think the latter has more appeal.
