Quittintime: Fundraiser for Dinosaur's son Ryan

Introduction:

Breaktime Tavern members who have read the "Kidnapped Again" thread know that our good friend Dinosaur is engaged in a mighty legal battle to preserve custodial rights to his 7 y.o. son Ryan. For those who haven't, please read on, then go to:Breaktime: Kidnapped Again

Though Dino has not asked for help ? he is much too independent for that - many of us on BT wish to help reunite father and son. Having been through the wringer ourselves, we know how costly the so-called justice system is.

Background:

Dino and Ryan are one of Breaktime's favorite father and son teams. They lead active and healthy lives in the wilds of Qu?bec, Canada.

Dino makes his living as a ski patroller and is a small independent renovations and repair contractor.

Young Ryan is an accomplished skier. The girls of BT say that Ryan is cute, and no, they don't say the same thing about the rest of the motly BT crew.

Anyhow, Dino's legal battle involves the natural justice principle that a competent father should have the right to parent his child. The system is stacked against Dino and Ryan, but the case has strength and depth.

Your donation will help Dino win enforcement of the court order under which his son was legally living with him.

Fundraising details:

I am asking that anyone able to help fund Dino's battle to have his son returned to him could donate through Quittin' Time (QT). All donations will go to Dino, who?s full name is T.H. Richards. There are four ways to donate:

1. You could donate through QT?s PayPal account (see link on the QT website) and Calvin will see to it that the money is forwarded to Dino.

2. You could also mail your donation in the form of a US or Canadian Postal Money Order made out to T.H. Richards, and sent to QT?s mailing address. Calvin will collect all money orders and forward these to Dino. Money orders can be in US or CDN dollars - all can be easily cashed by Dino at a Canadian Post Office.

3. Donations by personal cheque made out to T.H. Richards can also be mailed to QT?s mailing address. Calvin will collect the donations and forward them for Dino to cash at his bank. Please note that US$ cheques drawn on US accounts and cashed in Canada will cost you stout service fees. Best to use PayPal or Postal Money Orders.

4. If you prefer to make your cheque or money order payable to Quittin? Time, Calvin will cash these and forward the total donations directly to Dinosaur.
