Mastering the Miter Saw parts 1 & 2 DVD's
      #8767 - Wed Nov 10 2004 07:48 PM

Folks, it's been a while since we put anything up on the block, and it's high time we do it. Gary Katz, an author of a couple books on finish carpentry, a contributing editor to FHB and an interesting presenter at national tradeshows, has developed two dvd's on the use and tricks of the miter saw. Those of us that do it all the time, and have done it for years still step back on some of the tricks and applications Gary comes up with on the tool that makes us money. I haven't cracked open the package, but I have sat in on Gary's intensives, seminars and show clinics. You can check out a review of the series from FHB here: FHB review

No matter how much we know, there's always room for more knowledge. You just might find it here.

Take a look at Gary's carpentry site and see for yourself. http://garymkatz.com/

Spread the news, perhaps think about a Christmas present for someone on your list. Gary was kind enough to donate these two dvd's to help promote Quittintime. Thanks to Gary and thanks to you!

Thanks gunner, been awhile since I've seen the whale . I'm going to let this thing run for awhile to see if we can generate some interest, things have been slow here as of late. Hope that's not a problem, because if so.......I'll set a deadline. You make the call as the initial bidder.

The notorious Gunner from Ky has graciously placed the initial bid of $30.00. If you're interested, don't be left out. Place your bid now. Remember, money collected in this auction as usual go to keep this site on line. Thanks

And by the way, Yarn Boy had some digusting suggestions of what you could do with your finger(seeing as how you have an extra)

Take as long you need. I'll be hovering. I've had my eye on those babies for awhile.

In regards to the site traffic. Maybe some live nude girls signs out front will help. I've got one I use for the end of the road when we have yard sales. Works great! Takes the wife awhile to get over it though.

BASTAGE! $40.00 dollars.

And tell yarn boy when I get done with this DVD set. I'm gonna be able to slice his taters at 60 degrees. And put returns on the ends of them.

Oh boy, now I know what I've been missing by not coming up w/some goods to put up for bid. Now this is some action.

We had 35 and that was quickly snuffed out with 40 from Gunner...........with a real reason to get the set. He's done his studying up on how you cut those angles bigger than a 45.

So, we have 40, the retail on each separately is 29.95 with both going for 49.00 shipping extra. We've still got a deal here.

What do you say? Gunner and the slice and dice of yarn boy, (damn, wish we could get tim to make an appearance), or a little more on the current bid?

And as usual, thanks for your interest and thanks bigtime for your support!

Awwww man. You were the high bidder @ 45.00. And now you bid 48 bucks. This has happened before. I sure have a way to confuse people.........

Alright, here we go. The bid is somewhere in the neighborhood of 45 - 48 dollars, US.

Who'll gimme ..........................

Thanks Mark!
