Quittintime: Asbestos

I am boycotting all of James Hardies products, heres why.

James Hardie which made and sold asbestos products here was held responsible for the ongoing death and diseases amongst Aussie workers and their families.

As part of their responsibilities they were to set up a fund to compensate workers and families for asbestos related disease which are set to explode in next 20 -30 years.

Their response was to empty James Hardie Industries move it to the Netherlands leaving behind only a shell of a company with $293m in it when it needs over $2.4 billion.

The directors and Hardies are being taken to tasks for this but as we all know corporate giants are good at avoiding the law.

So that's why I won't buys Hardies I hope my American peers can also find another supplier besides Hardies as they only understand the bottom line.

Oh yes, I have used their asbestos products in the past and hope I won't be needing any of their money.
