Bought this for DW a couple years ago 'cause she wanted one. Has maybe an hour of use on it. Includes sander, case, assortment of papers, pads, etc.
The proceeds will as usual, go to the furtherment of the QT site.
Shall we open the bidding at $7.00 us? Do I hear Seven Dollars?
I'll even cover shipping.

Whoa! Nuthin to the right of the period! I'm gonna have to get that sysop guy to list that above. Next thing you'll want me to do is "take the line".

10.73 is all I have to me name right now. I figured that if I just threw the whole sum out there, JohnD would be so dazzled at the magnificent riches, he would have no doubt that he could never outbid me, and would give up.
But now, you've forced me to reveal my strategy, and he'll outbid me for sure. You cad.
Besides, I know that sysop guy personaly. His bark is way worse than his bite.

Next time I'll make sure there is nothing after the period. Period.
From the looks of my bank account, there'll be nothing before the period, either.

I'd kind of rather that the winning bidder keep the tool.

I think I'm going to follow Calvins lead, and never bid again.

John,
It occured to me that I might have sounded "short". My apologies if I came across that way.
Thank you for the offer.

John, no need to wear out your fingers out with what's to the right of the period. Concentrate on making the number to the left of the period higher.

Don't worry about sounding curt. It did not sound that way at all. Thank you for the note. As you might have noticed, I date back to the WebX days of BreakTime, and I have followed your postings regularly.
While you have been grumpy at times, it usually was directed toward a valid source. Remember R. Kaller?
As to my last bid, my wife told me that I can purchase a lot of toys as long as they do not come home. So, in support of Quittin' Time, I still want to renew my $12 bid, but if I have to take the thing, I will not pay. Or, I will simply put it back up for someone else to bid on.
So keep my house and kids happy, and take the sander. Remember, "If mamma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy".

Hey, how about we let Compton keep it, and run it a second time ?
Maybe between the two auctions, he'll get enough to at least cover postage. hehehe

Ok, Compton, Looks like the ball is back in your court.
Please start another thread. Title it sander part deaux, or something like that.
We'll auction it all over again.
