Starting the complaint and suggestion list.
      #3954 - Fri Nov 22 2002 04:44 AM

This thread is for your complaints and suggestions. I have already started a list of things that I need to fix or change.

So far I have,

* Need to get rid of the list of moderators at the bottom of the page.

* The text in this friggen edit box runs off the screen. Need to get word wrap turned on in this box.

Luka
change your view. I use Sysopview and I only have a normal edit box. Not a friggen one. Do friggen ones cost extra?

I don't like the search engine at Prospero. How long will it be before you can fix it?

* When thread opens, the viewer should be taken directly to the newest posts, and not have to scroll to them.

* I'll be looking for a spell checker. No guarantees.

C'mon guys, add these things to the list here, yourself.

Most recent post or discussion should move the topic to the top of the list......Isn't that how the old Webx breaktime used to work? It just keeps the latest discussions on top so you don't have to scroll thru all the posts.

In the folder, the newest thread does come to the top automaticaly.

Within the thread, the posts are added to the bottom. This has always been the way it was. It could not be changed. It still cannot be changed.

However, I will be working on making it so that when a thread is opened, the browser will be taken directly to the newest posts made in that thread.

Looks like that one is fixed.

To everyone, let me know if this is not working for you.

When you open a thread, you should be taken immediately to the newest post in thet thread.

At worst, you'll be taken to the bottom of the thread, and have to scroll up just a tad.

As of tonight, I have to scroll down to the newest post. I'll check in preferences to see if I can adjust it there. If not, lemme know if I'm seeing things. Thanks luka.

Hey Luka,
I just noticed the 'rate this thread' section at the bottom....
What's up with that?

Ok ,I rated this thread a one just to see what happened, and now I see that I cannot change my mind and rate it higher, that option doesn't exist. Personally, I don't like the 'rating threads' option.
Also , I liked the folder icon better than the light bulb.

Hey, y'all said we could bitch...

No complaints here the new site looks great.
You sure have started something putting up icons some people might misuse them but I guess we're too intelligent for that
