Some of you may remember one of our brother posters description of the aftermath of the 9/11 tradgedy over at BT. This pic was taken from his office during our visit a cpl days ago. I cant imagine what it was like, nor what it would be like now, to see this every day. No words can describe the feelings you get when you view this blank space of NY landscape. Perhaps the most haunting view comes at ground level when you peer down the street to where the Trade Center buildings stood. Every street you look down in the city has buildings surrounding them. To see nothing amid the canyons at the bottom of Manhatten was very disturbing. Let's all take a moment on this Independance Day to remember the cost of freedom.

It was great to meet you and your crew, Cal. Sorry that I haven't been around this board in a while. I'm just a slug these days. For the rest of ya, when you coming to NYC?

Yeh, I like that picture better....IMHO it seemed long overdo that something as catostostrphic as WTC would happen. Lotta A-holes in this huge world. I imagine more horrific things will continue to take place. Yet as long as there are wonderful life giving loving people in this world I truley beleive we will conquor the evil among us. Teach your children well...have them understand the difference between anger and problem solving through peaceful demonstartions. Teach them to take a stand and not to be be money hungy..teach them the respect of this planet we were graciously given to "build" respectfully upon. Evil will always exist.......and creative compromise within all cultures should and will IMHO prevail if we chose to be less self serving and more community oriented. Those that died for our future had sometrhing very strong to say.....lets keep that in the forfront of our world and not let it go....This all had a serious purpose.
Be well
Namaste'
