Something isn't working
      #577 - Sun May 05 2002 11:27 AM

When I go into the Construction folder, every single post that I've not read has a red folder next to it and all the other posts have a yellow folder. Very nice.

When I go into the How-To folder, on the next page there is a red folder next to Feedback, but when I click on Feedback, the folder next to all three posts is yellow. I know which two I haven't read, but the point is...I didn't click on the posts in case that might aid in diagnostic work.

When I go into The Back Porch (which says there are four unread messages), there are no red folders to be found anywhere. I had to scan the dates to find the messages that were posted this morning.

Just thought I'd let someone know.

And just in case this has anything to do with it. I'm sorry, JonC. It was just a poor attempt at humor, I didn't mean anything by it.

hehehe Now Jon, leave the poor guy alone.

Rich, this is a real problem. I have asked for help with it already. I will go and ask again, in a different way, and in more places. Sometimes its all in how you ask, not what you ask. I may cut and paste your post into my help request, and then add to it myself.

Thanks Rich.

Now Rich, You know it takes more than a poor attempt at humor to offend me. And you know I certainly dont have the computer smarts to mess with the color of your icons. I have, however, been screwing with your weather just for the fun of it.

It occurs to me that I haven't had this problem in awhile, so something got fixed (?). Even the weather hasn't been (too) screwy lately!

Thanks!

Well Rich, you'll be happy to know that my ability to make it rain by reserving the ride-on trencher is still intact. Reserved it and cancelled three times this spring getting in 300' of trench for the phone and power out back. (Lotsa demand for that thing here in the spring when the ground first gets dry enough to dig) Had to put in 1200' of trench for the waterline. Called the yard on Tuesday, couldnt get it for a full day until Friday. All the long range forecasts said clear and sunny. Picked it up bright and early Friday morning and by noon I was trenching in the rain. If you want me to mess with any of your competitors in the roofing biz, just let me know. I'd be happy to call your local yard. Kind of surprised I didnt get a call from the BLM with all this wildfire stuff happening in the SW.

JonC
