one of our old friends , Capn Mac, has fallen on hard times. He's lost his job, he's lost his house.
but he hasn't lost faith and he hasn't lost his friends.
In the past we've helped our brothers and sisters on these forums... injuries, hard times, missions...
One of the good things about QuittinTime is we have a good and faithful treasurer in Calvin..
if you would like to help Capn Mac out with a donation..

There's been alot of views to the thread, but I've only rcvd one confirmed donation. Have you posted this announcement elsewhere? I'd have thought there'd be more contributions for the Capn.
If we move this to the Auction House I believe Luka has that set for non member postings............

Today, I also received an envelope from Canada-BC..........maybe Sooke, BC
I'd like to pass along a little more info to Mac-all I have is a last name. The "zipcode" being from Canada and including letters.......has me a bit confused-not sure if it's a J and 9 a Z or 2.........1H6 I think I got.
Also, who would you be (besides Mr or Mrs T? Get me the info so I can include in to Mac, ok?

A real pity the other venues don't take a bit of a chance in something like this. What the heck are they afraid of?
That it might just do some good? or that it probably will be a liability that they just can't afford?
Beats me.
Just tends to rub a guy the wrong way when this seems to be the place for help, but can't get a break unless one of the sites shut down or something's needed...............
but I digress.
