and will the expatriots re-patriate?
With the modest changes that have been made there, a couple in the first 6 months and now a better search button that for me at least finally does go through a search, and now with at least a fighting chance that Dan Morrison might spend some time on it............
Will it continue to improve, thus making it viable again?
Or are the wounds so deep that none that left would even consider returning.
Seeing as no one really bothered to stop here and use this site when BT took the dive, this might be a dead question.
Beats me, just thought I'd throw it out there in case there was some viewability.
I don't know much about this poll system-if there's the ability to add a reply besides voting..............but if there is that option-feel free.
thanks.

You know my motto.
As long as there's enough loot to pay the bill-I'm too damn stubborn to quit it.

Cal,
Not been much on the computer, been busy with some hospital visits(for my father), so I just saw this.
The poll would be better if it was offered in percentages- i.e. How much of the old Breaktime atmosphere will return, How many of the disinffected will return?
With that in mind, I would say it will, over time, regain about 40-50% of its old feeling.
And perhaps, a third of the old bunch will return. Hopefully, some new blood will take up the slack.
I have little faith that the forum will be any more then tweaked - and it needs much more then just some fine-tuning.
The forum has rebounded in the past from the changes, I just think that this change made navigation to cumbersome to fully recover.
I broke down and bought my first computer in 1999. What got me to decide to purchase was wanting to see what Breaktime was all about. Was addicted right away.
Now, I have to wait a week between visits just to find an interesting topic.

Terry,
Just back from a long weekend up in Stratford, Ontario. Went up with some friends, stayed in a favorite B&B (but damn, our hostess-we had to visit in the hospital-was not there. She's a cool lady-half of the visit is to once again spend some time with her........this one, we had to don masks, gloves and a gown-she was there in an isolation room because of heart,BP and a very nasty cough. Appears she'll rally!
Went and saw Avita-wow! great show.
I agree with everything you write, including the baptism to BT...........probably read it for near a yr b/4 posting.

Greetings to all and my apologies for a long absence. Been working away from home the last 6 months with very little time and or inclination for the net.
I do hope BT will be resurected, if it doesn't it wont be for lack of trying on your part Cal abd you are to be commended. I would think that Taunton will at some time see the commercial benefit and act accordingly.
Kind regards to you all and hope this finds you in good health

A "look what the cat dragged in" would be a bit harsh............
So I'll temper it with "how the heck have you been?"
Things here in Maumee are well, my wife, daughter and our almost 10 mo. old grandson (Nashville, Tenn), are all well.
Our baseball team in Cleveland has decided to live in the basement, football soon starts.
Speaking of baseball, we were in Stratford, Ontario last weekend and stumbled upon a cricket match. Watched for a bit. Remembered your trying to explain the game, yet still couldn't understand hitting the ball "behind" youself and advancing back and forth to a stick stuck in the ground..............
How's things with you folks?
