I couldn't log on end of last week.
sent off an email and actually got a reply this time, so that part is new.
Said ... my name had "come up" in a coupla of the trouble threads ... so they had suspended my account while they "looked into" it?
Only crap I'd posted was telling Sq Peg she's nuts for maying I somehow got her fired about 5 years ago ... that thread was fun ... and ... posted more than once that I thought the mod's once again had no clue how to moderate, knew very little about construction ... and the fact they cut everyone's pic allotment sucked and wasn't a mistake as the mods were first trying to explain it away as.
So thinking I basicially got the boot for being a general pain in the ass. As I told them in my reply email ...
that's not a problem ... just let me know where I stand if/when a decision is made. I stopped having much attachment to the place during the first mass banishment. If they wanna screw up a good thing ... it's their good thing to screw up. Life moves on.
I know Gunner got a 2 week time out from the Tavern for his "i'm huge" pic. Not sure about him ... but I'd guess he's on a wacko hit list somewhere under my name, all from that Kiva thread.
I gotta figure out how to post pics here. Have a camera fulla great kid pics ... this weekend me and Cath went without kids for one nite ... but weekend before we spent a long weekend in the woods with the kids.
Corey got out in the kayak last summer by himself ... this time .... he followed me out in the kayak himself, out and into the lake. He was in Cath's kayak and I was close enough by in mine. First time out on the "big water" ... he did great.

This is even more mystifying than the first purge. Strange to me because that first one came as a surprise-I hadn't read any of the offending threads. Haven't read many of the latest ones either I guess, but the strange part is there have been what I would have called offensive posts prior that didn't get a whimper out of the moderators.
For example, some of intrepid's posts have been downright stupid, hurtful (or whatever their word for it is), inciting etc. Yet, he's still there-in the tavern-doesn't seem to post any helpful posts at least that I can remember.
We can't speak with JP, he's been laid off. Robin pops in on occasion-appears to care............then we don't hear diddly from her.
Just plain goofy.

I think we were the victims of a drive by. Someone in corporate wandered in put on a blinfold and started shooting darts. Or someone complained maybe repeatedly and they came down for a look. My pic and caption happened to be floating towards the top and not knowing me or the history they just pulled the trigger.
If they had any idea like the regular mods they would know I meant no malice and was actually using the tavern for what it was meant for. A regular working guy unwinding at the end of the day. Nothing more. I don't run from thread to thread causing problems. Or keep stirring the ever volatile political arguments over, and over, and over.Or breaking the terms of services just to see how much I can get away with. The regular mods let it stay for a week so they understood it. That's why I think it was a drive by and now the mods have to clean up the fall out. If there is any. I don't do the double identity thing so I don't know what's going on in the tavern. I got another week. No biggie.
Yea I was pretty steamed at first but f it. What you gonna do. They are all worried about what the customers and visitors are going to think. Uhh WE are the customers and visitors. And we don't think much latley LOL.

I sure don't understand why more BT ers don't get this place up & running. I haven't spent much time over at Breaktime in a while. Just like the Magazine the place is a lower quality then say even 5 years ago.
The people running the site need to get into govermenent, they would fit in there.
Now back to the real world, Work is real slow were out on our own, the Bassturds that I busted my Hump for the past 8 years( they also drive real nice Mercedes SUVs that I made happen for them) threw me out to the street 2 1/2 months ago. Gave me my last pay check & that was that.
So whats happening in the Tavern & Bt is small potatoes in my world.
We knew the Gravytrain was going to end some day, just bitter about the way the X- employer went about it.
Were thinking about getting a biz up & running that will do only PV Solar, it's an untapped market here>

Yea. It seems that corporate shows sporadic interest. And that's the problem. They hit hard them leave. When all the pieces are getting back together they show up again and blamo.
Like I kind of said earlier. They are worried about what customers and visitors to the site are going to think. Well that's us. And we used to think we really liked it. Until everyone tried to fix it.
Later I got to get to bed. We remodeled a drive thru tonight and I lost the coin toss to do the training in the AM.

I would be real curious to see what happened if everyone tooka little BT vacation. Not some stupid boycott. Just take a week and hang here instead. My curiousity leans toward what it would look like over there at the end of the week w/out the regular's posts.
Think new regulars would pipe up?

So far buttkickski holds the record for getting kicked out the furthest.
Noone really knows what they like or dislike - when you get booted you may not even know why.
First time I got booted I was actually carrying on an intellectual conversation w/ rjw,( he was explaining to me why it didn't matter that the president was a citizen as far as the courts were concerned ) and trying to passify squarepr*** all in the same day. Next thing I know, I'm a baaaad dude, wtf.
Just hang in there, don't take too much seriously, figure out who's a d***weed vs. a good dude, and have fun...when it ends aint up to you.

I don't par-take in BT much anymore. The place is just not the same, Sucks in my opinion. People running the place have no clue.
Good group of people there, but from what I see in treatment of the members in the past 12 months was enough for me to not to do business with Thin Skin Taunton!
Last I saw it was a problem to post picture of work on the site, too bad for them.
Let me know the address for the Fest this year & I think I can dig up some swag for the host for door prizes.
I still find it hard that the traffic on this site does not pick up due to the way BT is being ran.
Were staying busy but not like it used to be,replacing countertops today, small job after small job.

Yup - It's total bullshit.
The email that RDA sent me to tell me I was out made it sound as if she was horribly offended that I would ever say anything like that. I pointed out that I've been using that tag line for 7 or 8 years and they've never said anything about it before. And blow jobs have FREQUENTLY been mentioned in the tavern before. I got no response from her.
She also accused me of "testing" her with some of my recent posts. More bullshit - I've never done that before. (Unless it was just poking fun at Andy Engle maybe)
Since Monday was my birtday I used an alternate profile that I had set up for my GF to use. (UniqueOne) Apparently RDA saw it or someone turned me in, and that profile got banned too. More petty bullshit.
I will give her at least a little bit of credit - At least she emailed me to let me know I was out. I've never gotten that courtesy before.
BTW - I've heard through the grapevine that many of you sent some karma my way in the birthday thread. Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate it. I've always been amazed at the amount of support that I've gotten from the folks at BT.

I got nother name I can read and post , but no Tavern. They closed the Ask for access thread even...I wonder if NO new comers are allowed?
It's way goofy, I never got an email ( I CALLED Robyn, repeatedly, and finally spoke w/her) I never was told how long, never a word about Malo...

Well gentlemen, you know you can hang your hat here anytime. I realize it's not the same but it is a way to stay in touch.
The two of you have been a large presence over there. Only a vendetta or moderation with no background would kick your butts outta there for these serious offenses. It's something we can bat around I'm sure for a long while.

So you got an email, Gunner got an email, both to tell you why and what will be. THAT is what I don't get. I never got a n email, just suddenly "There was a problem with this page, please try again" or AFTER composing a message/reply "Posting is not allowed at this time" THEN, no way to view or log in.
Apparently there is not just "breaking rules" but levels of broken..I mean, a BJ comment gets ya 2 weeks outta the tavern..if ya say "you are a dicque" you lose the whole forum for who knows how long...Colleen was posting and no one else could read it ( bozo'd), and Gunners TOTALLY not bad picture, gets him 2 weeks.
I think they ( she) just mete out whatever they/she feel like..A broken rule is not on a scale of 1-10, it's either broke or it ain't broke, and it's 2 weeks, or 30 days, or a year, or just the Tavern, or no forum at all...thats what gets confusing as hell. Denial? Ok, I have 3 scripts that I shouldn't mix, Parafon Forte, cymbalta, and meloxicam. All can kill a liver w/alcohol. So again, while yer assuming, assume I don't care about my liver.

I've shared all I care to about my meds, and the muscle relaxer ( the parafon) makes me stupid, so , I can say with certainty that there was no alcohol involved.
Sober? maybe..relaxed? YUP..LOL. I don't drive or do anything in the shop if I have to eat a few to keep the pain at bay.
I do find this whole rigmarole vastly entertaining , you'd think the Tavern and BT was our oxygen they way some of us carry on.
I imagine I'll be back as Sphere in due course, and either the forum will be acceptable or not, either way, I've soon got a handful of other interests to focus on, and I get the feeling BT will become less of my attention in the free moments I have.
As my ex wife used to say " A new life comes along every waking minute,pick one".
I've a greater understanding of what is important to me in the "now" , and pain free is my focus, then maintaining that while persueing other things that I enjoy, without the hassle of what's it gonna mean to a forum moderator or casual viewer.
Being the ass that I am, I prefer to say what is on my mind, and stifling and censoring is OK, but after we run out of similes and alternate ways of speaking our minds that are acceptable, I guess I've reached my apex and time to STFU and move on. I said what I was wanting to say, and took the blow for it.
There are some posters whom I worship the ground they will be in (G)

Diaper and pistol I can come up with, ain't seen a Barbie doll since my kid was 5.

Sorry to hear that. Bunch of thin skin whatevers over there. I go there less & less, after they turned me down when I asked for a star next to my name. Same old BS that's been going on there for about the last 3years.

Not real sure what's going on over @ BT. I went in a week or so back & SOS (same old $hi#) RJW with the same blah, blah.
Did notice that Eric ( used to be Thunderbird) also got the Boot, @ BT
Then went to the "Tavern Backroom", Good Pi$$ing contest going on with Ron & the splintergroupie, someone needs to charge admission for that kind of entertainment.
I have always liked Ron, & wish him the best of luck on his next mission!
Something I did find out that they do over @ BT, is you can be banned & not even know it, Your post can show up on your computer, but not on other peoples computers.
One more reason.
Good to hear you had a Good time in the Sunshine state, been a long time since we been there, nice place to vist!

Wont be long for me, really close to going. One thing I can say is the out processing for going to theater has gotten more organized. That takes away a lot of the stress we go through.

Hi Gunner,
I think what made me drop Breaktime was not only the change in format but the number of penalties being dished out without any clear definition of the offence. One guy would be sent to the penalty box for tripping while highsticking was allowed.
Anyways, this doesn't look like a bad spot to hang for awhile.
(We'll hunt and fish in weather we wouldn't work in.)

The new format is pretty murky. I hope it will get fixed more better one of these days.
I'm not a hunter gatherer anymore. Just lost interest. But some of us are talking about getting together for a hiking/camping hanging out fest. I doubt that it will turn into a roughing it experiance. Probably a place with both hotel and campground. Anyway. One of the options is New Hampshire.
