If I'm reading this right?......you just had a by-pass.
I had more trouble after I got home cause I kept lifting heavy stuff and injuring my rib cage than any other time.
be careful and listen to the docs advice about lifting stuff..........just a mitre box put me in hurt city for a couple weeks........

No bypass, a carotid artery cleanout via cutting it open and pulling out the blockage.......however, the artery was in bad shape so they borrowed a pc of vein from my groin and dutchmaned that in.
Neck feels fine-not so with the groin. I walk as slow as the dog now. Don't worry-I'll follow instructions. Hope the other side is a simpler proceedure in 3 wks.

I did every thing I could think of to be ready for this. Should have enough wood & kindling, bird feeders filled, garbage day should be taken care of (the two old ladies down the street I do it for)......all but a good snow. And for that I can always call in the neighborhood. Kept their sidewalks clean for several years. But you never know.
Thanks for the good thoughts. Nice to know friends from the internet aren't just a figment of my imagination.
Just got another load of cookies in, so please......and I never thought I'd say this......no baked goods.
