You just got me to thinking - what a great fund raiser it would be to square off Splintie against Ann Coulter!
I'm talking about a debate type cat fight, not a mud wrestling match!

"sell tickets and raise money for....?"
Some childrens charity, But hell I'd pay money to see a verbal debate and more to see the mud wrassling. Of course we'd need some DNA to prove Ann was a woman and not a transvestite (sp?).

Firefox (2.0) has it built in.
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Using+the+spell+checker
"Firefox automatically checks the spelling of words that you enter in text boxes containing more than one line. As soon as you finish typing a word, it is checked against the words in the installed dictionary. If the word is not found in the dictionary, it will be underlined in red, as in the following example:"

If you use IE, google up "IE Spell free download" File Hippo ought to have a copy. It's a smal,, compact download; save it to a handy Temp directory (or yout "downloads" directory if your XP is set up that way).
Run the executable, and it installs painlessly. If your IE security settings (and Version) allow, you even get right-click spell checking, which is tres cool (yes, I'm spoiled that way).
IESpell will also learn words if you tell it too (so you can use sammitch without tripping up).

In 15 years of computing, I think I have used a spell checker maybe 5 times...

an understanding of who, what and why all of BT has been so incredibly inconsistently moderated might make it easier to work with and to co-=operate withing to make it a better place. Trying to know if we are working under a tinhorm dictator or a thirteen year old girl or some corporately installed automatic insane autodelete software might help one decide whether to wait and hope for better days or to give it up altogether. The way it is currently being forced to go downhill by the way it is being moderated is discouraging to say the least. The inconsistency and rude lack of communication is the worst.

To put it in context.
If I had an employee that was pissing off a bunch of my customers and acting in a manner most would call irrational, I'd want to know about it so I could deal with it.
If Jean Paul has just gone off the deep end the power's that be don't know, or at least don't know the depth of what's going on, it might be nice to let them know.
Either way, it would be nice to know where to aim...

I'd like to let someone over at taunton know the depth of mine, and everyone elses, aggervation...
Somehow I doubt it would have any affect though.
