there this other site pirate4x4.com, they let the member say what ever they want, and I mean whatever. if you ask a question twenty people will cuss you out, a bunch of kids, its like being in a bar at closing time. Yes I wish I could tell some people to bite me, But i have never mention one person by name. i claimed that liberals are evil and I still believe that but I never mention one name.
I,m glad that sites has drawn he line.It should be moderatored, if it not then its the wild west. I got banned because I wasnt poliical correct. I told them like it is. wasnt harmful to any one person. i think i was just in the wrong place and got blanket. I have never been banned before.
I deserved it too.

Hey Snort, I think I might have accidentally fixed the clock.
I'm knocking on wood, here, hoping it doesn't screw something else up.
But I think I finally got it set for Pacific Standard Time.
That would mean if it is twelve, here, it should be 3 on the east coast.
Now, to set your own clock here, so that the times posted make some sense to you...
Scroll to the top of the page.
Right click on "my home".
Choose to open in a new tab. (So you can leave this page open so you can read the instructions. LOL)
Once that opens, scroll down to "display preferences" Now choose to edit that.
In there, the third setting down, lets you set the time you want to see posted.
It shows the current forum time. Then lets you choose your offset time in hours. You would simply put 3 in the box, then scroll down and hit the submit button to make the change.
I hope this helps.
BTW: All of the times that have already been posted on posts made before I fixed the problem, will stay the same. So there will be some confusion because for instance, this post will probably now be marked a matter of hours earlier than the last post made before this one.

Fixed it?!
Does that mean I have to go reset the time on mine? After I finally got it reading right by trial and error?!!!
Sh...I mean shuycks.
Now fix the time clock at BT - set to before BB and Bobbys got booted, will you?

but you have your blinders on if you think that that kind of posting was acceptable behavior (quote)
And here is the rub.
The one thing I always liked (and hung around for) was observing how thought works and processes through different individuals.......depending on their social background and upbringing....
One man's acceptance is another's horror..........
I have in my past seen far more heated dialog than ever took place in the the Tavern and was used to name calling and fist pounding political argument
I don't know all this accusation has soured my belief in a new and vibrant way of communication via the "net"
If I had been in charge at Taunton I may very well have shut the whole damn thing down after I got sick of reading the e-mails complaining about this guy or that guy....that's me.
They took a different way of doing it.....too subtle......too indirect......too unfair.......and most of all too unwise.
So F you guys (I say lovingly) I'm gonna waunder back down to the VFW and get in a real argument with some real guys...........Good luck to you Piffin...you've both been straight shooters from the start.

Oh, I didn't call you and Cal idiots! I won't name the idiots I was referring to. <G> We can all be idiots, but at least you and Cal are not venomous. Thanks for the welcome.

That's alright Carole. My wife, my self and a bunch of others patronize our local bar-The Village Idiot.
Thus, we are certifiable Idiots and as such do accept and exhibit all those features of true Idiots.
But we are non poisonous of course and thus, not venomous, as you point out.
Just a bit of clarification.
Smitty is from Rhode Island and likes to sing and dance. Don't know really what pigeon hole that would put him in.
thanks.

I usually see him coming out of a large plastic blue or green one.

Smitty is apparently not a real redneck.
Elsewise he'd carry a roll of TP in his golf bag, and wouldn't care where those green or blue plastic boxes are...

Calvin: FWIW, my daughter's friend (who just bout grew up with us) is playing at Howards this Friday - I have no idea if the band ("something something Sea")is any good - they just recently started playing together, and their young....
And, of course, the Howard's ambiance is always so suave and sophisticated....

Thanks for the tip, I'll see what's on the dance card for Friday.
Usual problem is those "kids" don't start playing till after 10.

Has anybody gone back to Joseph Fusco's website since they got booted from BT?
http://www.constructionforumsonline.com/index.php
I started a thread over there to see if anyone was around:

Looks like Jeff Buck has checked in over there recently. And there are a couple of other familiar names.

Looks like I may be the first "banned one" to be let back into BT?
Got an email out of the blue saying that I should check to see that I had access to BT and the tavern again. I checked, and sure enough I did.
I didn't ask, and am not really sure how or why it came about.
Anyone else back in now?
